Product Manager Manager Dermatology Benelux

Sanofi Genzyme’s multi-country organization (MCO) in the Benelux ensures that patients in the Benelux have optimal access to Sanofi Genzyme’s products and services. Sanofi Genzyme’s Benelux MCO consists of following business units: Rare Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Oncology & Immunology. 

FUNCTION

Purpose of the job: Develops and implements local brand activities/plans :

  • Responsible for marketing activities for a product portfolio or therapeutic area
  • Develops effective marketing programs, supports national congresses, organises national symposia
  • Develops messages regarding disease and efficacy, safety and positioning of the brand
  • Defines and justifies marketing budget
  • Develops and manages external communication marketing materials for different target groups
  • Is responsible for the branding of all materials within the guidelines of the product and company
  • Plans, implements and supports marketing programmes
  • Interacts with BU in the execution of the strategy
  • Analyses market trends, develops product positioning and growth strategy
  • Develops strong relationships with key stakeholders in order to gain insight into market dynamics
  • Organises country brand meetings
  • Delivers defined brand activities
  • Establishes advisory boards with key stakeholders as necessary
  • Develops brand plan(s) and develops and designs product management processes
  • Designs and/or launches market research
  • Researches new market developments and changes strategy and/or tactics if required
  • Conducts complex financial analysis and business research to report on future and current product performance
  • Manages and is accountable for the marketing budget of a portfolio
  • Has developed conceptual and practical expertise in immunology

CRITERIA

  • Master’s degree in business, medical, marketing, management or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of sales or marketing experience in a pharma environment, particularly in dermatology/immunology , sales experience preferred
  • Proven experience as a Product Manager, having successfully designed and implemented product/product plans – preferably including a launch – is a must
  • Experience within a multidisciplinary business environment
  • Medical and/or scientific affinity, plus product/disease knowledge is required
  • Strategic marketing skills
  • Communication, presentation and networking
  • Has developed conceptual and practical expertise in immunology
  • Experience in launching a product, shaping the market
  • Experience in KOL (key opinion leader) management
  • Experience in putting up & following up of market surveys
  • Leads projects and may lead functional (project) teams
  • Leads the delivery of assignments and organizational goals
